I come from two different cultures. The American South, and Mexico, both grounded in home cooking, fresh, locally sourced ingredients, comfort and love!
I grew up in a family with many food allergies. After experiencing many “no’s” and many tears around food, I started researching recipes and foods that I could eat and that my friends and family could also enjoy. The birth of Gobi Free Foods.
While Mexican and Southern cooking are my origin, I take inspiration from the culinary tables of the world, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Indian, Japanese and Korean.
I want my food to taste delicious, look amazing and make you feel healthy and alive.
